Poise Studio had the opportunity to be the spotlight last week on a local news station... if you look close you can see wonderful skills from, Becki Pedersen in Yoga and Belly Dance, Dan Haroldsen in Yoga (very front corner of room), Matt Haroldsen in Yoga, Carol Haroldsen in Yoga (Back corner of room) Kim Johnson in Yoga and Belly Dance, Becca Wintle on Pilates Reformer and Belly Dance and few of Matt's wonderful friends!

Thank you for everyone for being there at the crack of dawn for this!! I love you all!

We had a great Christmas Eve at My brother Dave's house...... with our annual Christmas Story by the cousins!

We have had 2 weeks of snow in Oregon.... and the kids have had a blast! Here is an overview. The only pics I don't have are the fun sledding trips with Grandpa Haroldsen and Uncle Matt, thank you guys!

Aja did her part by pulling all the Ornaments off while we put them on! Great Job Aja!
The final product, you can't see in the pic but all the Ornaments are in one area of the tree!
The Designer Landon - he just told Gavin where to put the Ornaments, and put on about 3 ornaments. The official tree manager!

IT was a great night...... it ended here with the kids crashed out on the couch. One of their favorite things... sleeping on the couch. PARTY!

This is Aja's 2nd outfit, her real costume was a monkey, it was so cute but within an hour it was soiled and done for the day........ So, her back up was a Pink Bear!
Gavin and Landon had the day off from school, so they came with me to help teach My Kids Yoga Class........ Great tree pose Racer X!

We went to a great Pumpkin Patch with Landon's school, It has a Ferry that takes you to the Pumpkin Patch and a Train that takes you back, the kids loved it!

Great days at Lake Almanor!

We took a week off and joined Mike's family at Lake Almanor in California. Mike's parents own a beautiful lake home that we are very blessed to enjoy! It was such a beautiful week, the kids are still excited about it.

We had ALL of our family in town the last few weeks, the count was 42 people!~ it was action packed, as you can see by the photos~ yes, there are allot of them, and there is much much more. We feel very blessed to have such a great family. Sorry to Kat, Joe, Dan, and Dave some how you hid from the camera. You didn't make the cut......... We Loved seeing all of you!!

Law says under 15 has to wear a life jacket! We thought this was close enough, poor Aja was SO hot! But she did great, she was happy the whole time!

We rode into dark, and it was a beautiful silence, in Gavin's words "This is so relaxing" ~ I am glad they are able to feel that peace in life.
The kids were in Heaven, the boat has been sitting on the side of our house for 2 months just teasing us!

We love getting out on the weekends- One of our favorite places is Portland's Waterfront. The boys ride their scooters, and I try to keep up!

I decided it was time to catch up on my blog. Aja is now 3 weeks old and has such a sweet calm spirit. She sleeps and eats well, and the boys can't get enough of her. The next few blogs should catch you up on our lives. Gavin is finishing Kindergarden, and Landon Preschool. We are looking forward to the SUN! Summers coming soon.

We have posted the coming soon sign at the Studio! The beauty on the other side of the sign is our business partner Victoria. We are so excited for the opening of our studio. Unfortunately we don't have an opening date at this time. We have been working with the county to bring our building to code, and we are definitely on the county's time line. It has been a longer road then planned. But we do believe all good things come with time! It's also giving us time to love on our new baby girl. It all started fast~ Wednesday April 30 @ 11:30pm and I was pushing w/in an hour .............. Mike was great support. I love you Mike. After some unexpected events, one being Aja's hand over her head while trying to come out, after 3+ hours of pushing~ I had to go to the hospital to finish my labor.

Our Peanut was born May 1st 5:20am and was officially named by Gavin soon after. It has been a wonderful week and we feel very blessed to have Aja in our life.

Just checking in-- Our cute little baby is so cozy in my belly, it is now 14 days late! We are still all in good spirits, and excited to meet our new Balmer. We will post pictures as soon as Baby Balmer arrives. Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts.

Landon loves these glasses! He brings them almost everywhere, they are 3-D Glasses from the U2 show...... In his words...... they are SO Cool. Gavin's a gamer. He loves his Game Boy when we have our chill time.

I am running late, but still in high spirits! We are all looking forward to baby Balmer #3. Landon has a pile of toys for the baby, including a Yo yo and Paper Airplane. Gavin is so intrigued by my belly. Loving to watch it move trying to guess if it's an arm or leg. Mike has been sweet putting up with my obsessive nesting, and helping out with it allot! He cleaned the toilets for my last week, this is a landmark moment:)

36 Week appointment

I had my 36 week appointment at our home. My midwives came over for Dinner and to get to know our home for our Home Birth. They

Painted on my belly to show the boys the position of the baby~ and of course Landon got the treat of a baby on his tummy and turning into a Lion! It was a great visit, we love our Midwives.

Snowboarding~ Bend Trip

We had our Annual Snowboarding Trip closer to home this year in Bend, Oregon. This was the first year Gavin and Landon could take lessons. Gavin was in Snowboard school with his good friend Danner and Landon was in ski school, both loving it so much it was hard to get them off the mountain at the end of the day!

We feel very fortunate that we have such great friends and family!
